We recently moved back to Portland, Oregon and bought a house! I was specifically looking for one with a detached garage so I could convert it into a ceramics studio. In the past I had been using a small table and shelf for my “studio space”, but I’m ready to have a full-fledged studio where I can take my pottery to the next level.
These are the “before” images of the garage. It’s currently undergoing renovations, and I’ll post some photos of the process, as well as the final studio once it’s all set up. A lot will be changing, including adding a kiln shed to the back and some big windows on the side to let the gorgeous North-facing light come into the shop. I can’t wait!
